How does the price of Granite compare to Quartz?
Granite and Quartz prices vary from year to year. Quartz producers often come out with new collections at a higher price, that bumps the older collections into lower price brackets. Natural Stone prices depend on the variety of stone, and each variety having their own brackets depending on availability.
Can I see my slab before it gets cut?
We always encourage visiting the shop after your stone has arrived to approve it. Our samples may only depict certain areas of the slab, and we are happy to send photos of available slabs to ensure you are happy with what comes in.
How soon can you do my project?
Once your project is templated, we allow 3-4 weeks of lead time before install. Please know that we will do our absolute best to accomodate your timeline. Our schedule is always changing, and we often have to adjust due to an inconsistent construction industry.
What do I need to do before template?
Prior to us coming to measure, we require a deposit and a signed work contract that lines out what can be expected from us, and what is expected from you. The most important element is to have your cabinets completely set!
I’m replacing existing countertops, how long will I be without counters?
On remodel projects, we are able to template over your existing counters. There is no need to remove them until we are ready to install your new tops.
Does Alpine do countertop removal?
We highly recommend hiring a remodel contractor to remove your existing tops.
Do you have remnants?
We have an entire lot dedicated to remnants of all colors and sizes. Remnants are best used for small projects such as powder room vanities and shower benches.
Can I use remnants in my kitchen?
We rarely have remnants that are consistent and large enough to do kitchen countertops.
Do you sell sinks?
We do not have stock of sinks to choose from and do not regularly sell sinks. However, we can special order sinks upon request.
Do you install tile?
No, we do not install tile flooring or backsplash. We do have tile samples and can special order for you or your contractor.
